Bio
Jeff Kane has been addicted to writing, performing and producing music most
of his life. During his early childhood years, he took to piano and violin
naturally, as this natural talent was passed down to him from his parents
who are also gifted with this natural musical talent. He won his first
recitals and contests before reaching 10 years of age, and began recording
original music on his first multitrack recorder shortly after.
Fast-forward to the mid-90's, when he established himself as a successful
score-composer for Rainbow Studios, a producer of electronic gaming
entertainment. His action-oriented symphonic soundtracks have been
incorporated into popular games published by Microsoft and Tri-Mark
entertainment entities.
After marriage and children became top priorities in his life, he has
re-entered the songwriting and performing arena with his continued focus -
to just write really good songs. He joined the Nashville Songwriters
Association Internation (NSAI) and the San Diego Songwriter's Guild (SDSG)
in 2006, and continues to improve his craft and gain experience in the music
business.
Today, Jeff, his wife Andrea, and their two sons Ryan and Adam, reside in
San Diego where he regularly partakes in the multitude of open mics,
showcases, and other performance opportunities.
