The band was formed in 2008 by Jeff himself, hence the name and a way for a people to remember the lead singer, same as the band name, simple. But this band is far from being a simple band. The music and lyrics performed currently were written by Jeff himself. While the songs reflect Jeff's life experiences and his take on the world that's around him, he has managed to transform his lyrics into an amazing style of rock and roll with blues edge to it that revives your soul and spirit. Along with Jeff and his band is the perfect balance to bring you a performance full of great vibes and an awesome experience you will never forget. In the past 2 years, they have opened for some great national acts that have played at the Crazy Donkey (one of Long Island's last great rock venues), such as Johnny Winter, the Goodrats and Jeff's favorite Joe Lynn Turner. They also performed at our annual ice-breaker bash this past February. So those of you in attendance know "who that great band was" that was playing all night long. The band also won the unsigned band festival contest in 2008, which ironically was their first live show. In addition, they have donated their services to help out local charities such as Long Island Cares, Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, Cure Mommy's Breast Cancer and Make A Wish Foundation. The Jeff Regan Band is a mixture of blues rock, Motown and pop with melodic and soulful vocal melodies. Jeff's influences are diverse but some favorites are the Black crows, the commitments, Elton John, Stevie Wonder The Band consists of seven core members with up to eleven, including keyboards and a full horn section, ranging from some of NY and LA's most talented musicians. Jeff will also perform solo, acoustic or as a core three piece. The Band is available for club and venue bookings, arenas, outdoor festivals and private events.

Regan can stroke blues softly or he can rock it out. Either way,
it’s a sonically wealthy sound, full of soul and vigor and heartfelt
sincerity. Regan moves smoothly from sweet acoustic blues rock to
energetic, plugged in passion. His vocal textures combined with his
deft guitar work, forming a musical experience drenched in thick
melody, meaty lyrics and a natural performance style.

Regan’s writing spans a rich cross-section of musical influences.
“I enjoy writing all types of music – country, R&B, blues, rock, jazz,
pop,” Regan explains. The diversity of styles he explores finds a
unique dovetailing thanks to Regan’s songwriting maturity and lush,
infectious style. “Music is the language of the universe; I pride
myself in speaking many languages.” The different flavors he employs
in his craft under the umbrella of Regan’s personality.
Happy, Sad, Positive
“I’m drawn to positive messages,” Regan says, explaining the
themes that arise in his songwriting. But Regan is able to find
meaningful messages in more than just the brighter emotions. “I am
highly receptive to music; it has made me happy, sad, joyful and angry
… A great song for me will give me the chills and make my hair stand
up.” And that electric vibe (and we’re not talking about whether the
guitar’s plugged in) comes across through Regan’s music, caressing the
viewer with the same charge. The emotional complexity of his music
finds the positive in ever corner of life, light or dark.
The Artist at Work
Regan is looking forward to more live shows in the
not-too-distant future. In the meanwhile, he’s at work on a new EP,
slated to hit the streets while Regan is hitting the stage this
summer. Regan is currently working with A&R Select, the world’s
leading independent artist development firm, based out of Los Angeles,
CA. All of Regan’s music and lyrics are written, performed, recorded,
mixed, produced and mastered by Regan, a self-taught artist with no
formal music education – only the passion to create.
