Discography
I have a CD with 10 Vietnamese songs that I wrote and sang. And I've recently switched to writing English songs, as I found it a challenge which I want to prove to myself that I can overcome and do well with.
My only 2 recorded English songs can be listened to at the following weblinks:

Bio
I didn't start learning about music and songwriting until I was 36 year old. I took 1 course in piano, another course in music theory, and spent the rest of the time self-learned from books.
At first, I started writing Vietnamese songs using the lyrics from my own poems. Then I got laid off, divorced, then laid off again. Now I'm just living on helps from my family and compose music in the mean time, because I can't find any job at all. You can call me a real starving musician.
I've always dreamed of having a career as a songwriter, so I can go anywhere, do anything, yet can make a living out of doing thing I love the most (writing song). Having the disadvantage of not being a natural English speaking person means it's much harder for me to write English songs, as well as singing. But I've been working on overcome that difficulty, and I will get there sooner or later. My philosophy is the more I work hard at it, the better I will get.
I love Elvis Presley's music. I also love romantic music. So my tendency is to write a lot about love and romance. But I also have 2-3 new songs about peace, people, and hardship of life which I've been through myself.
I used to be a Software engineer for 25 years, so I'm very comfortable with computers and software. I guess that did help me fight my way through the software music recording jungle.
