Bear Bones is a seven piece electric rockin’ reggae dance band (with bass, drums, lead and rhythm guitars, keyboard, flute, alto sax and trumpet). The Bear Bones acoustic ensemble can comprise everything from a duet up to a quintet, with acoustic guitar, stand up bass, violin, mandolin and harmony vocals. This versatility allows Bear Bones to fit the desires of any event or venue. This quality is reflected in their CD Honoring Life, released in June of 2005 !
The group has been playing in various incarnations around Sonoma County for 20 years and since 2000 in its current line-up, and includes members from such bands as Ecotonz, Hijinks, Biocentrics, Modern Hicks, the Ruminators and Crystal Wind.
