Jeffrey Scott

Jeffrey Scott's music combines the melodies of the Beatles, the harmonies of the Beach Boys, the slither of T. Rex, and a dash of vaudeville to create an accessable yet unique brand of music.

Last Rites for a Dying Heart is the debut album from Long Beach California’s singer/songwriter Jeffrey Scott. It is a wonderfully dramatic pop/rock record, complete with both timeless and catchy melodies that surprise and delight even the toughest of music critics!

The Sound
From the shimmering vocals that open the album, to the garage band swagger of "Just Beg" that closes it with a bang, Last Rites for a Dying Heart takes the listener on a exhilarating journey and drops them off feeling very happy and upbeat! It’s feel good music with elements of nostalgia and modern magic that makes Jeffery Scott Music an entity in itself.

The Band
Jeffery Scott teamed up with drummer, Dave Coulter. The two met while working at a record store together. It took some time that the two friends found their third wheel to their bass player. So in the meantime, Jeff performed solo at various lounge style gigs in Long Beach, CA. This was when Jeff crossed paths with bass player Brian Neztley. Neztley, a seasoned L.A. music scene member, was the perfect match for Scott’s long standing search for his ideal bass player. Together, the three of them create the inspiring music that is Jeffery Scott Music. Each member pushes themselves beyond their capabilities, reaching new levels they thought possible.

Tour Dates and Record Sales
Fast approaching California shows include a College tour and The International Pop Overthrow Festival. The band plans to be playing at various Los Angeles hot-spots throughout the fall!
