Bio
Jeffrey is one of the best upcoming comedic stars around. He was born in Zimbabwe, but spent most of his childhood growing up in Australia. As a young boy, Jeffrey realized that he possessed the gift of humor. This was partially due to the fact that he often felt like he was on the outside looking in. Due to this sense of not quite fitting in, he learned that making people laugh was the best way to fit in.
This natural gift also served him well during his years as a registered nurse. It was while nursing, that Jeffrey realized, laughter really is the best medicine. After countless friends, patients, doctors and strangers told him he should do stand up comedy; he finally made the transition and now does what comes naturally.
His comedy is usually derived from actual events that have occurred in his life. It is these situations that set him apart from everyone else. Given the life experiences he has endured: being ostracized at school for bringing his “doll” to show and tell, realizing he was gay and his struggle to come out, his journey to discover who he is as a gay man and human being and the harsh realization that he is not the “man whore” he wishes he was, it is amazing that he is so self aware and secure. Jeffrey is aware of both the positive and negative sides of these experiences, which he is able to translate and explain through comedy.
He can be seen performing stand up at the Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store, Aura, Room 5 Lounge and various other venues in Los Angeles
