Jeff Silver

Singer, songwriter, arranger, producer Jeff Silver started out as a singer/songwriter, but he has also composed for musical theater, advertising jingles, and the Nashville country music machine.

He's just finished his long awaited CD, "Looking Forward/Looking Back," which could not be more appropriately titled. There are songs life, like “Already Gone” about his mother’s long-term illness and death in 2007, and “Fly Away Home,” which looks to the future as he gives advice to his daughter. He can also rock out, though, on tunes like the Nashville-influenced, like “No Way, No How” and “Pulls My Trigger,” and show great musical sophistication and bluesy soulfulness on “Rise Above” and “If I Had a Gun.”

Silver is a truly diverse writer and performer who gives listeners a variety of thoughtful lyrics and expertly crafted, well-performed songs. If "Looking Forward/Looking Back" chronicles part of one singer/songwriter’s journey, audiences will be extremely pleased to hear about where he’s been and where he’s headed.
