Bio
Jeff Warren Johnston is a singer-songwriter primarily interested in the classic outlaw country sound made famous by icons such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Roger Miller, and Merle Haggard, combined with influences from rock artists such as Tom Petty, the Flying Burrito Brothers, and the Beatles. He performs solo and with a band at several of Austin's popular venues including the White Horse, Jovita's, Hill's Cafe, Carousel Lounge, Saxon Pub, Rutamaya, Roadhouse Rags, Hole in the Wall, Steamboat, and many others.
Jeff is currently working on his debut album with Robert Earl Keen's guitarist/producer Rich Brotherton. To date, one single titled "Them Tears" has been completed, though not officially released.
