"Hank Williams Festival says Jeff Whitlow & The Old Barn Band were the "Crowd Favorite""

By the 2nd song, Jeff Whitlow and his Old Barn Band had the crowd on their feet, dancing and clapping. They held their attention for a full 90 minutes. We heard comments from many fans stating that Jeff and his band was the best show of the weekend. Even better than our headliners, Ronnie McDowell and Jeff Bates. They will definately be a park of our festival for many years to come. - Mary Wallace Hank Williams Fan Club President

"Jeff Whitlow in The Planet Weekly"

Jeff Whitlow is keeping Traditional Classic Country music alive. After viewing the DVD "Jeff Whitlow Live In Concert" and listening to his "Old Country Restored" CD, even the harshest critic will be convinced of his talent. Then with the opportunity to see him live on stage at the "Hank Williams" festival last summer, I was sold. Jeff
has the voice and the love for that classic country sound, and together they make for a real treat at a live show or a must hear collection of his CD's !!
Jeff usually plays with his band, "The Old Barn Band", which is an exceptional country band. - Jerry W. Henery

"Largest Crowd Ever"

Even when it was almost 100 degrees out, our biggest crowd of the summer was on hand to validate your musical reputation as a band that shouldn’t be missed! On behalf of the City of Decatur Park’s and Recreation Department, I want to thank you again for sharing country classics during the 2008 Paul Stroud Concerts by the River series. As I said last night during your introduction, it has been amazing to find performers whose sterling talents are matched by equally big hearts and a generosity of spirit. I appreciate your support during my first season of the series, and it has been meeting people like you and members of your band that has made this pure fun ! The concert last night was wonderful, and anyone that can get people to dance in 100 degree heat should know they have a special gift!

"Whistlestop BBQ Festival Says Thank You"

Aaron Tippin performed on Saturday evening on the WDRM-WTAK-The River stage, along with Jeff Whitlow & The Old Barn Band. Tippin assembled a bike on stage which he presented to the Marines for the Toys for Tots campaign. Whitlow and his Old Barn Band thrilled the crowd with the older country hits from the past. The songs you don't hear on the radio anymore. My hat is off to Aaron & Jeff for a wonderful night of great country music.

"Larry Gatlin & Jeff Whitlow brings the city of Guntersville to its feet"

Jeff, Thank you for your great performance last weekend at our Will Rogers Festival. Your opening for Larry Gatlin really set the stage for a perfect night. Your music is what people love to hear and many of us grew up on. Add you and Larry together and you the outcome is a no brainer. We are looking forward to having you again next year. - Milla Sachs - Chairman - Will Rogers Festival

"Governor Bob Riley's Inaugural Kickoff Boots & BBQ"

Governor Riley and I want to Thank You again for making our Boot & Bar-B-Q so very special and so much fun for everyone!!
Thanks so very much for the very personal song you wrote and recorded for the Governor. It will be a memory of a life time. Come back to see us here at the Governors Mansion real soon. - Patsy Riley - First Lady of Alabama - Governors Mansion

Having performed with legendary greats such as George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers, Aaron Tippin, Daryle Singletary, Sugarland, to mention a few has made our hard work worth the effort. We are all great fans of the older country music which you just don't hear on the radio anymore. When we hit the intro into a great old Haggard, or Jones tune, the fans go crazy because its music they grew up listening to, and music they can relate to. I have alway been a fan, and admired the struggels that this older generation of artist went thru to make back in the day. It is my goal to do what I can to keep their music alive.
