Jemma Tweedie

20 year old singer/songwriter from the Scottish Highlands, based in Glasgow/Inverness. currently working with a band for future shows. I have played many gigs across the country including the infamous king tuts. I have been gigging for just over one year and have supported some great acts such as Charlotte Church and Lucy Rose. Festivals played include Rockness, Cornbury in Oxford, Wickerman, Go North, The Edinburgh fringe, belladrum and a few smaller ones. I aim to deliver a memorable live performance by capturing any audience with my unique vocals and style whilst getting feet tapping with catchy rhythms. I have independantly released an EP and a single and have been previously nominated for a SAMA award (Scottish alternativ music award) as best acoustic act. I have recieved airplay on BBC introducing 6music and BBC Radio 2 and willl soon be featured on TV on BBC Alba. I write a lot of songs and love recording in the studio. I aim to continue working hard and building a fan base through live shows.
