The Big Rock Casino and El Norteno Magazine are pleased to host Jenna Martinez's CD Release Party debuting Esa. Jenna will perform in the newly renovated Big Rock Casino Banquet Hall on October 29th, 2005 with special guest, Nosotros, recently voted Album of the Year at New Mexico's 2004 NM Music Industry Awards.
Showtime is 7 PM and free of charge.
Jenna Martinez releases, Esa, her third full-length album featuring the music of internationally acclaimed Argentinean composer, Amadeo. The album features ten songs that speak to the artist's personal confrontation with love gone awry:
"This album was a healing process for me. It really complimented my personal feelings and helped me to build myself back up after I had fallen apart from the break-up," states Jenna.
A clear departure from her previous two albums, Esa set's the tone for the artist's first attempt at reaching the international Latino music market with beats and style reminiscent of Miami Sound Machine. Dancers and Latin music aficionados alike will experience the unexpected twist, the album's trademark, of multiple intermingling styles in the course of a single song.

Recognized throughout the southwest for the superior quality of her voice, Jenna demonstrates the ability to move from one genre to the next with grace, ease, and fun! Jenna has made numerous radio, television, and live performance appearances throughout Western USA. The natural beauty and unique quality of Jenna’s voice inspires and moves audiences of all ages. The diversity of her artistry is fully expressed in songs that range from mariachi, rancheras, salsas, merinques, gospel, cumbias and ballads and hip hop.
Jenna's 9 year career has definately touched many people. She has been awarded 26 different awards, such as Female Vocalist of the Year, Salsa Tropical Song of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, and more, for her music from her 5 albums and has had over 50 nominations. Her music can be heard in many radio stations in New Mexico & Colorado, Texas, and as far as Alaska!
Jenna continues to attend college to pursue her career as a teacher, and to get her Bachelors Degree in Spanish!
