Bio
She started having an interest in music through her grandmother who started to teach her how to play the piano. From there she spent many years learning and plunking away on a piano in her parent's basement. Eventually, she attended the music program at Grant MacEwan and graduated with a major in vocal performance and composition.
Jennifer's writing style is unusual yet not alienating which leaves her audience with a feeling like the music can be a welcome addition to their senses. She believes in challenging her audience; bringing them into her thoughts and making them feel comfortable while they're along for the ride.
Her influences over the years have been diverse stemming from timeless musicians like Van Morrison, Annie Lennox and Bob Segar to eclectic composers like Tom Waits, Tori Amos, and Bjork.
