Honest, thoughtful lyrics and a soulful set of vocal chords are what make a Jenny Moore song a Jenny Moore song. The Winnipeg-based singer/songwriter has been frequenting the Manitoba music scene since
her debut in 2000 with the record, “Battlescar.” Jenny managed to set herself apart with intimate lyrics and inability to stand still and play her guitar at the same time.
In 2003, Jenny’s lonely journey as a solo artist ended with Conrad Koslowsky becoming her musical cohort (and husband!). The addition of Conrad made way for a new, more mature sound. The edgy, acoustic
rattling of their guitars creates a collage of catchy melodies without settling on the typical, overproduced patterns of popular music. This duo has come into their own in terms of crafting a set of tunes that
emote and inspire us not to ignore our own brokenness but to have faith in the margins. Jenny’s fierce presence always makes way for these powerful
tunes exploring love, loss, and desire. Jenny Moore is about the development of poignant and important songs, full of originality and soul.
