"Hullabaloo delivered on promise of great music Published Wednesday September 3rd, 2008"

In the evening the ‘big names' took the stage as acts like Matt Andersen, the Hupman Brothers, Jens Jeppesen from New Denmark performing his ‘Newgrass' music, Chris Colepaugh, Andrew Hunter and Ross Neilson. It was a fabulous musical event that saw the weatherman cooperate and make it memorable. With sixty volunteers on the scene of the show that was organized to the last minute, and the whole campground set off in sections to make security easier, it was a pleasure to attend. - Victoria StarPublished Wednesday September 3rd, 2008

Discography

Jens has released three albums in the past four years his first album "Making Time" is a solo record. The second album is a bluegrass tinged album called "Time To Go". This album was recorded with a backing band. His third album "Miles To Go" is a folk album with a huge focus on the bluegrass instrumentation.
All three albums are carried in stores across Canada at HMV.

Now in the studio working on his fourth album "Time Alone". Jens looks to refine the music that he loves without loosing the edge, the energy, the intensity or the excitement that he is known for on stage. This album will deliver everything that he has been working on and learned over the past three years. The goal of this project is to take yet another strong step forward, not only in the industry but with respect to his songwriting and musicianship.

Now joined by Joel Leblanc on the upright in the studio Jens is free to explore the guitar like never before. This will certainly give a new feel and flavor to the material.

Bio

Jens lives on the road making a living making music. He is a bluegrass/old country hybrid with a limitless amount of energy. Now with national distribution through HMV Jens is able to spread his own style of music across the country.

Jens is often joined at festivals with his backing band The Hands of Time featured on his second album "Time To Go". With Calvin Deleavey on banjo and David Lewis on bass, Jeppesen is flanked with some of Canada's most talented artists. Singer songwriters in their own right, Calvin and David deliver a solid back-line, smooth harmonies and a swift pace to keep with Jeppesen's wild style.

As of late Jens is joined by Joel Leblanc from the well known east coast trio HOT TODDY. Joel is working with Jens on his fourth album and performing on festival stages all over the east.
