Bio
Jeramiah Bailey; a musical phenomenon that creates the soul of urban music, mixed with reflections of Jazz, R&B, Spoken Word, Gospel and Hip Hop.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Jeramiah has been singing and performing since he was nine years old, vocally trained under the leadership of his grandmother Minister Shirley Scott. Gospel is where the development of this great vocalist started. Singing for many local churches as well as the church he grew up in was a great experience for Jeramiah as a performer. “God is first in my life and I thank him for the gifts he has given me!” (Jeramiah). He grew up in a musical talented family of singers and musicians. One to be announced is his brother, a Producer known as Soulife. The two dynamics collaborated on Jeramiah's first single, (“Fantasy”) a song fulfilling pleasure for the ladies, as well as many more songs to come.
Jeramiah has performed with The Ritz Voices, (a local youth choir in Jacksonville, FL under the leadership of Deborah McDuffie); he has shared the stage with many great performers such as Ashley & Simpson, Kindred Family, Peabo Bryson, Donnie McClurklin, Adina Howard, Oleta Adams, Vickie Winans, Martha Munizzi, and many local artists as well.
Being the oldest sibling from a single mother and growing up in today’s world, Jeramiah can relate to many struggles of the two L words; Love and Life. As a depth lyrical songwriter you can’t help but to relate to his songs that speak on what relationships, society and individuals need to hear living in these days.
“In today’s music we talk about a lot of negative themes, when we should be building relationships, speaking confidence into people, encouraging people to keep living and to follow their dreams, and at the same time making music we can have fun to and still keep it real! I’m not with killing someone and putting our own people down! Keep the negative on your end!” (Jeramiah)
With his soulful voice, down to earth personality and sex appeal, Jeramiah is sure to be successful in the Music Industry.
