Bio

Jeremy Borer grew up performing musically onstage throughout his childhood in Fair Lawn, NJ - a suburb of New York City. He began his solo career while studying music at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. While there, he studied guitar and voice and built a loyal following of fans before heading to NYU to get a Masters Degree in Music & Production. He quickly got his feet wet in the New York City music scene, playing at open mics and acoustic cafes.

Two years in the city and one CD later, you can catch Jeremy Borer live throughout the Northeast performing solo with his acoustic guitar or in full force with his 3 piece band of talented musicians. His debut CD, SPLIT AT THE SEAMS, is self-produced & engineered, and mixed by longtime NYC producer/engineer Godfrey Diamond (Aerosmith, Lou Reed). The album offers an organic texture that is a result of the songs (likened to Coldplay & Dave Matthews), Jeremy’s vocals (influenced by Jeff Buckley & Toad the Wet Sprocket), and the band’s rhythmic and harmonic instrumentation.

Jeremy recently launched a Northeast College Radio Campaign, resulting in extensive radio play from 80+ stations.
