Bio
For the past few years I have been performing in jazz legend Chico Hamilton's group. Chico has been teaching me a holistic musical concept which consists not only of playing but arranging and composing as well. I feel that most jazz groups are in a hurry to get to the solo so they can show off what they have been practicing. In this scenario, the song gets lost, and so does the listener. We strive to play for the music - not other musicians.
