Biography

Jeremy Hoekstra has been writing and performing original music for over a decade. His influences came from pop/rock bands of the 1990s including: Toad the Wet Sprocket; Gin Blossoms; Counting Crows; Hootie and the Blowfish. Today his music is influenced by the likes of Glen Phillips, Nickel Creek, Mat Kearney, U2, Coldplay and The Fray to name a few. Jeremy is known for his ability to create songs that have strong, catchy melodies and that are easy and enjoyable to listen to. His lyrics reflect his life experiences combined with the hope of something better to come. Jeremy will capture your attention and peak your interest as he takes you through an experience of genuine music and reflection that goes beyond the here and now.
