Jeremy Johnson is a fast rising artist and songwriter in Christian Music. He is much more than just another singer or songwriter. He is a musician, communicator, husband, father, bible study teacher and minister. He has used his life experiences and his love for Christ to bring a message of hope to audiences across the country.

His passion to worship and minister is never more evident than in his concerts. His live performances have been fine tuned and refined to be not just entertainment, but an intimate worship experience. No matter what the setting, Jeremy is at home on stage. He constantly reaches for excellence when he plays live.

His newest CD, "Transformation", reflects Jeremy's response to obedience over the last few years. He has spent time honing his songwriting skills and following the direction that he felt God was leading his Ministry and his music. "I have a totally different sound now, than I did on my first project. I don’t even sound the same." says Johnson. "God has placed songs on my heart that are relevant to the church and to the unchurched alike".

The album's title cut is a rocking opener that offers a deeper look into the Spiritual Transformation that God requires us all to seek. "This song was birthed out of a sermon I had heard several years ago," recalls Johnson. "The pastor was talking about becoming a new creation and having a new life in Christ. That is what we are mandated to do, to become a new creation in Him."

The song Fly is a soulful, acoustic ballad that asks the hard question. Where will you be when your days on this earth are over? A challenge to the heart of all who hear the message. "We aren't promised the next breath that we breathe and absolutely no one knows the hour or moment that we will be leaving this place. We must always live like we are in our last moments, never waste a second in this life."

The song, "4 a.m.", dives into the topic of brokenness. "We all come to a breaking point in our lives. We all have a crossroads moment, when we have to decide to follow Christ or ignore him." states Jeremy. "No matter where we drift to in our lives, God can steer us and bring us back to a place of full restoration, this song is a reminder of that truth."

Johnson's other songs on the project are a rare mix of outstanding vocals, solid lyrics and a soulful sound. More importantly, it has a message that speaks deep into the soul of the listener. A message that is fresh and told in a new way.

Background
Jeremy grew up in Chattanooga, TN and was saved at the age of 9. His family was very active in music and ministry. He can't remember a time in his life, when he wasn’t around music. "I had a feeling early on in my childhood that this is what I wanted to do with my life," says Johnson. God affirmed that calling when he was in high school.

His college days were spent at Lee University and Trevecca Nazarene University respectively. In 1997 and 1998, he was a member of the contemporary christian group, New Direction.

In 1999, Jeremy released his first Project entitled "Living for Heaven". The Album was produced by Mark Burchfield (Twila Paris, Clay Crosse) and had an all star lineup of players. Steve Brewster (Richard Marx, Avalon, Rich Mullins) one of the best drummers in the business played all drums and percussion on the project. Playing all keys and piano was Jeff Roach (Caedmon's Call, Third Day). The acoustic and electric guitars were all played by Michael Hodge (Newsong, Natalie Grant). Two of the songs on the album, "Tears on the Altar" and "No Secret" received radio airplay across the country. Jeremy has also made several television appearances over the last several years.

In 2000, he married the love of his life, Tiffany. She is an instrumental and vital part of his ministry. Jeremy and Tiffany have two children, a daughter Jada and a son, Skyler. They reside just outside of Nashville, in Murfreesboro, TN.
