Jeremy Schachter is rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after young talents in stand-up comedy today.
A native of Rochester, NY, Jeremys raw talent and aspirations of success led him to -- where else? -- New York City. Upon his arrival he spent two years at the acclaimed School for Film & Television in Manhattan, honing his acting skills before kicking his stand-up career into overdrive. Jeremy has shown the drive, determination and talent necessary to take the entertainment industry by storm. Schachter conquered the New York City comedy circuit and is a regular performer at the prestigious New York Improv among others all over the US. When hes not touring at clubs and colleges across the country, Jeremy finds a little rest and relaxation on his down time in New York City. In the short time Schachter has been honing his craft, hes accumulated an impressive list of credits.
His accomplishments include opening for top comedians like Chris Rock and David Spade, and other fan favorites such as Dave Attel, Jim Norton, Harland Williams, and Nick DiPaolo. In addition to working shows with the best in the business, Jeremy was also selected to perform at the 2004 Boston Comedy Festival. A well-rounded
performer, he has also spent time as a member of the highly respected Upright Citizens Brigade improv comedy troop and has even acted in
several off-Broadway productions in New York City.
Jeremy continues to capitalize on his opportunities to show the world what he can do.
