Bio

Jeremy Wilson’s Bio
I am Jeremy Wilson drummer for the Phillip Glyn band. The band plays a variety of music from, country, rock to a little zydeco, we try to play a variety so we can please all of our fans. I am from Augusta Kansas a little town outside of Wichita Kansas, I now live in Conroe Texas where I have been for the past two years.

I am using this bio as a professional networking tool in to the music industry. I am looking for endorsements from companies such as Evans, Vic firth and sabian. I have currently picked up an endorsement from Shine drums out of Sacramento California. I am traveling a lot with this band to such places as Wyoming, New Mexico, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Louisiana and Texas. We are looking to go to Alaska and Europe.

The band was formed with one of my good friends Josh Norman. When they had to get rid of their drummer he called and asked me to come play with them. They also hired a guitar player by the name of Darren McGill who came on at the same time. I started playing drums at the age of 14 and within a year was out playing and gigging. I had the chance to play with some good bands starting off with 2 Steps South. I then went on to play with a group called Slide bar out of Oklahoma City. The next band was Against the Grain from Wichita Kansas. I then played with some guys from Boston Mass called Rio Drive. I then moved to Texas and joined a band called the Josh Ward band which leads me to the group I am with now the Phillip Glyn band.

I have had the chance to share the stage with some great players and bands. I shared the stage with WC Edgar who played steel for Alan Jackson and Tim McGraw. I have also been on stage with bands such as Black Hawk, Little Texas, Tracy Lawrence, Terri Clark, Phil Vassar, Chris ledoux, Days of the New, Biff Naked, Andy Griggs, and also a good friend of the band Abe Manuel which is Merle Haggard’s fiddle player. We are currently searching for a record deal, in search of our dreams.
