Jerod focuses his music on topics that most everyone can relate to. The melodies, lyrical quality, and musicianship of his band allows for an earthy feel and an all around great time at live shows and private gatherings. With a style that reflects John Mayer, Josh Kelley, and Dashboard Confessional, Jerod Applegate produced and recorded his first album between January and June 2004 and 'officially' released it in late June. "when you need someone like me" has seen more than fifty copies sold of passed out and Jerod has been seen playing around the Tulsa area as well as in Muskogee and Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He strives for his music to have a positive feel to it and wants everyone who comes to his shows to feel at home welcome into his world.
