Jerome A. Clark
Jerome Clark a Versatile musician, guitarist, vocalist, and composer. Jerome began the formal study of guitar at Grinnell music studios in Detroit Michigan. While attending private lessons he met renowned Detroit guitarist Perry Hughes. Under his tutelage he began to play several clubs in and around the area. Some notable performances were with New Yorkers Marlina Shaw and the late Charles {the organ grinder} Earland. While continuing his education at Eastern Michigan university he met the late Dr. Morris Lawrence; Director of music for Washtenaw Community College. Under his directions he was exposed to all forms of music. During the past two decades Jerome has performed at Bakers, The Bird of paradise, Floods, The Chicago Theater, The Charles H. Wright Museum, Andys Jazz Club(Chicago),The Finn & Porter Restaurant, Cliff Bells, Alvins, La Musique Restaurant and countless private engagements.
