Jerome Kors

Jerome kors, born in the Netherlands, has grown up in a small town close to Amsterdam where he was musically influenced by the funky vibe of the city. Funk, soul, pop, rock, and hip-hop artists as Michael Jackson, Prince, George Michael, and Lenny Kravitz, to dr. Dre, Teddy Riley, and Raphael Saadiq inspired him to live music.

Jeromes interesting journey through music all began with the gospel formation Close Harmony with whom he learned how to sing and perform. After leaving Close Harmony he formed his own group Nasty, wherefore he started to write and record his own material. Starring as a struggling musician, Jerome played a role in the hip-hop musical Why Me, performing at festivals all over the Netherlands with the Why Me Theatre Company for over a year.

Moving on as a solo artist, Jerome wrote and recorded songs with some of Hollands finest producers as Fabian Lenssen, Gilbert Armand, and Velibor Weller. Music stimulated Jerome to study Media and Entertainment Management to get to know the business side of it all and worked as a product- and artist manager for several artists. He had the priveledge to visit Def Jam in New York and met JoJo Brim, Director of A&R/Def Jam and Def Soul at that time, and recently Jerome started his own business; K.O. Entertainment wherefore he creates international crossmedial concepts.

Under K.O. Entertainment Jerome is introducing his own musical project; Amsterdamn Funk. A brand new demo EP featuring seductive songs like Mrs. Delicious and Robin da Bank.
