"Demo Review"

Rock band Jeronimos Machines from Kosice is trying to maneuvre as Pink Floyd. The band reunited after long time pause just few moth ago in February 2007, when the members of the band wnet through the rock / electronic - computer music - back to rock, after unsuccessful debut in 1996. Their trip is not visible (thanks god?) on current face of Jeronimos Machines's music. The brand new demo is bringing 4 rock songs, although colorful arrangements, dull vocals (in last song - vocal is candidate on 'Star platoon' - the worst singers in 'Slovak Idol') and sound is not convicting (not substantial).

Recording which is offering hard, riff guitar music has been recorded in studio Perina. Noticable are readable melodies and clear catchy choruses, but that's just not enough to catch someone's heart. It just slides over you and doesn't leave any echo in you. It's a pitty, because music ideas are good principally, but they need arrangement and sound tweaking. - Rock Planet 10/2007

Bio

Jeronimos Machines is rock band from Kosice, Slovakia, formerly known as Red Apple Worms. Pavol Petras and Stan Dzavoronok are longtime friends from early beginning of 90's. They were playing in various bands, with large scale of influence. From thrash metal to hardcore, from reggea to funk. In 1996, they released a 3 piece demo record which is still present on purevolume.com/redappleworms. Demo presentation wasn't successful which resulted into band split in early 1997 and made all musical project into hibernation, drummer Peter Gufrovic went to Nocaden group which gained countrywide popularity.

After years of experiments with computers and stuff, Payo and Javo got brains together and dusted off their songs, recreated sound and got themselves on rocky road of rock music.

Demo songs were recorded after 3 band rehearsals in nearby studio in August of 2007.
