J E R X - Vindaloo, Ty IckX, Andii, Erwin and Joey - the hottest band in Berlin - are known for their tireless touring and quirky live performances in Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Jerx are an energetic rock act whose mesmerizing live shows have enthralled rock festival audiences up to a size of 40,000. Together with the Rapper Emkay from Salzburg, JERX contributed the title song to the film "Heile Welt" (Director: Jakob M. Erwa) which won the Best Film Award at the Diagonale 2007, as well as an award at the Oldenburg Film Festival, and received a nomination during the Berlinale 2008. The exceptional singer, Vindaloo (romps on stage armed with a megaphone and distributes Jerx money) accompanied by the band including guitar player Ty IckX (known to play occasionally with his teeth) guarantee an enthralling festival atmosphere with their furious catchy songs.
