LA based newcomer Jes Frances makes her entrance into 2019 with gorgeous new offering, “River”. A beautifully poised soul -pop song for fans of the likes of Jessie Ware and Lianne La Havas, “River” showcases the stunning vocals of Frances over a wondrous soundscape. The track is the first of a series of releases set for this year. Speaking on the release, Jes Frances states:
“River is all about my journey in life up until this point and continuing. The happiest I’ve ever been was when I decided to pursue music full time. There was no plan, I just knew it’s what I loved. As soon as I made that decision, things began to appear. I didn’t question it or resist it, I flowed with it. The element of water is so fluid and can move with whatever comes it’s way. Jes Frances is a heartfelt, soulful singer/songwriter from the Bay Area, CA. She has been writing and recording since a young age but it wasn't until November 2018 that she decided to fully unveil her gifts to the world with her first single release, ‘Facade’. Since then she’s released her second single, 'River’, and plans to continue to release more music in 2019. Her music is raw and powerful as she addresses her story of self reflection, self expression, transformation, and navigation to her hearts power. Her soul, pop based music is inspired by her influences growing up, such as Alicia Keys, Santana, and Stevie Wonder. You can expect a lot more of Jes in 2019 as she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her true love of sound!
