Jesse J. Devil Hughes (aka Boots Electric aka Fabulous Weapon) is an American musician who was born September 24, 1972 in Greenville, South Carolina. Hughes is best known for his role as frontman of the California-based rock-n-roll band, Eagles of Death Metal and his enthusiastic interaction with audiences at live performances. Prior to forming the band, Hughes graduated from the Greenville Technical College with a degree in journalism and worked as manager of a Video Depot in the Palm Desert for several years. Eagles of Death Metal were formed in 1998 with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and are currently supporting their 2008-2009 release, Heart On. Jesse recently revealed that he is currently working on a new solo album to be released in 2011.
