I studied play-writing and screenwriting at college, where my teachers taught me how to problematize every concept ever, and then write from newer perspectives.
At school, I played in punk acts, the country-rock band Jagertrain, and the electronic vocal ensemble / traveling dance party "The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt!"
TPDR got picked up by David Byrne's Luaka Bop. We then got signed to do a world tour with Diesel Jeans circa '09.
Since then, I've been playing shows with this and other projects, and working on new material.
Throughout this whole period, I've been playing solo music.
