Jesse Harper

A founding member of Americana supergroup Old School Freight Train- having recorded with mandolin master David Grisman,toured as a member Grisman’s backup band, played countless headlining shows across the country; Harper branches out on his first solo recording "Jesse Harper and His Best Intentions" The record is influenced by songwriters Randy Newman, James Taylor, Paul Simon, and John Mayer- but features Harper's own distinctive voice and musicianship along with collaborations with long time friends -Daniel Clarke (pianist, kd Lang) Ann Marie Calhoun (violins, Jethro Tull, Ringo Starr) and Zack Hickman (bass Josh Ritter)
