Bio

Originally from Michigan, Jesse Morrow’s love for music began at a young age playing percussion in the high school band. He stepped onto the stage when he moved to Nashville in 2008 and began playing the local scene. Jesse gained a steady following and soon recorded his first album, New Beginnings. Rooted in life experiences, relationships and the world around him, New Beginnings is replete with warmth and depth. Each track has lyrics to get lost in and a melody that you’ll quickly be singing along with.

In 2009, Jesse moved to Bellingham, WA. While there, he met Brian Fennell of the band Barcelona, who helped him record his first full band album, “Come On, Speak Up.” The album carries over the artistry and personality of his earlier songs while showcasing a deeper level of songwriting and musical composition.

After years of juggling a full time job, freelance design and video work, and playing as many shows as he could fit into his schedule, Jesse decided it is time to give his music career everything he has. In September 2012, he moved to Seattle to follow his dream and began to pursue a full time career in music.

Jesse’s new album, Things I Might Lose (out on April 9th), was written from inspiring stories and struggle of friends and others who surround him in life. The lyrics pose conflicts of religious beliefs and self conflict. Some of these personal struggles include pursuing one’s dreams and making art, or doing what you love, which often leads to making sacrifices.

Through his music, Jesse strives to be an inspiration to others to pursue what they believe in, ask the tough questions, take risks, and begin a personal journey of discovery and letting go. While Jesse’s journey is exposed in “Things I Might Lose”, it’s time for others to find their own muse and enlightenment with the guidance of his new album.
