Jesse Russell is currently performing solo acoustic shows in support of his live cd release "Jesse Russell - Alone". His flawless voice has captivated audiences everywhere, while his songwriting has received overwhelming praise; Jesse is a magnetic performer and a songwriter of timeless material.


Jesse Russell is a songwriter and performer from rural Ohio that has been playing music since the age of five. The majority of his original songs (over 100 to his credit) fall into the pop-rock/alternative genre, though his range extends to include material in many other styles. Jesse has performed as a guitarist and vocalist with bands playing everything from country to funk and all points between, and collaborated with greats such as national recording artists Grayson Hugh (RCA), Albert Rogers (The Band), and John Burton (The Manhattans). He has not only played at traditional music venues throughout the eastern United States, but has also performed on live radio shows, at benefits, festivals, fairs, school proms, weddings, funerals, and parties, and has opened for several national acts including Kansas, Tracy Byrd, Toby Keith, Little Texas, The Guess Who, Blackfoot, Firehouse, Foghat, and Marshall Tucker.
