Although this five song EP carries his band's name, it's really the work of Jesse Thomason. Don't expect an earthy folk with these simple arrangements of acoustic guitars and vocals -- more like an understated acoustic U2. His lyrics drift in a bed of philosophical contemplation, some light like the opening cut "The Sunset" and some dark, like the weary relationship song "Waiting for..." where he complains "I don't care anymore." He uses an open tuning with a low bass drone that underscores the melancholy on "Wild Flowers." - Jamie Anderson copyright 2005

Jesse Thomason has been writing and performing songs for 15 years with various bands and artists. During the last 7 years he has released 3 E.P.s, 1 LP, written over 30 songs, toured throughout Texas, and California and established Infiltrate Records as his own independent label for releasing records and self-promotion. The two singles from his second release in 2006 "Say the Words" and "Broken Mold" were placed on the compilation for the National AIDS Awareness Group Hopes Voice, which is currently touring college campuses nationwide. Jesse Thomason performs as a solo Acoustic/ Electric act, creating ambience and atmosphere that cascades into explosive moments- reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, David Gray, and Sting. Intricate finger style guitar lines and strong vocal delivery coincide to define his sound. Jesse Thomason has been performing in the Ventura and Santa Barbara County areas for the last three years while finishing his full Length Album "Reflection". Jesse also performed as the opening act for Kevin Costner and Modern West in 2008 during the "Swing Vote" premiere in Ventura. His repertoire consists of original songs as well as covers from a wide array of classic and contemporary rock songs. With his first full length release "Reflection", he plans to tour the Western United States- building a fan-base and bringing his music to new places.
