Jessica Be

Jessica Be has been writing poetry since she was just a child. It was a way for her to express herself in a positive way and deal with the struggles of life. Over time, she started turning her poems into songs and wrote her first song when she was just 13 years old. That same year she recorded her first song, written by Fresh I.E titled "Fire In The Sky". After that she started recording with local, underground artists. She went on to work with a well known label in Winnipeg, releasing her first 3 songs, titled "Gonna Take Time", "Krazy" and "It's Too Late" featuring Young Kidd, on Jamie "Brooklyn" Prefontaine's, on the Mind Of A Heatbag album. Collaborating with many other artists, she became known for her smooth vocals and honest lyrics. She released her first solo music video on YouTube, with the help of Broadway Neighborhood Center's JustTV program, called "You Can Do It.". Since then, Jessica has performed for many community events and fundraisers and even opened for Jadakiss and Snoop Dogg's Dog Pound when they came to Winnipeg. She was part of Young Successful Music Group also known as YSMG, until she decided to go forward independently. Since then, she’s completed a two year business administration diploma program at Red River College, graduating with a major in marketing. She recently released her first tracks on to iTunes, GooglePlay, Spotify and many other digital music stores. Currently, Jessica is getting ready to release her first solo album and new music videos.
