Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Jessica, 25, started writing music at a young age. By the time she was 15, she won her first song writing competition.
Her adult contemporary musical style and sultry voice can be compared to the sounds of Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, and Chantal Krevuziak.
“Music is my therapy,” Jessica says. “Opening up my notebook of lyrics is like opening up my diary…every word has a meaning attached to it. This is how I deal with whatever life throws me.”
Jessica also writes lyrics in French and Japanese. “I’ve always loved languages,” she explains. “Being able to communicate with someone in their own language is the most rewarding way to connect with people.”
Jessica graduated from Smith College in 2001 and presently works for MGM Stulives in Los Angeles, CA where she is actively pursuing a career in music and writing. Jessica recently completed her first novel, Just Juliet, and is currently working on her second book.
