it all began on my grandfather's boat. i remember being perched up on the bow of his Grand Banks, gazing out at the untamable vastness that lay before me. I distinctly remember feeling the wildness of the wind against my face, the salty mist of the sea entangled in my hair, and a spontaneous melody of promise for a world a million miles away on my lips.

every significant moment in my life is a near embodiment of this memory. although the location and context of these moments have inevitably changed, my spirit has remained very much the same. i will always be that curious kindred soul looking over the edge, conscious only of the promise that resonates within.
