Bio

This young Canadian songstress has been writing and composing songs since age 10 & after years of being asked to sing around the campfire at family gatherings, she decided it was best to pick up a guitar. Growing up in a small town (Salmon Arm BC), she developed a love and appreciation for everything country. Jessica likes boys that wear plaid. She likes beer. She likes two-stepping to George Strait in country bars. But she loves to sing.

In 2010, Jessica graduated from the Grant MacEwan University Music Program in Voice, and has grown to be a very versatile musician. Her high energy and likable personality is apparent in all of her performances. She is very grounded and confident in what she does on stage and that’s what makes her so memorable; People stop what they're doing and listen. Jessica delivers her songs with a powerful, smooth vocal quality that leaves definite hints of country, folk and blues. Her unique and memorable singing voice reflects her sincerity & soul in everything she does.

2010 is going to be a good year for Jessica. She has kept herself very busy since September 2009, performing with her band The Whiskey Pissers, singing as well as playing guitar & harmonica. She has been in and out of the studio since September, and has just released an EP titled "Songs About You" in June 2010.

Jessica Marsh is on a constant climb upwards, inspiring those that get to experience her true talent. Her EP entitled "Songs About You" is quoted as being "an album even non-country folks will sing along to and love", and her witty lyric lines with catchy phrasing will have you putting all of her songs on repeat. Her music truly reflects who she is as a person; because like her music, Jessica is believable, confident and most importantly, real.
