Bio

My name is Jessica, I am 29 years old and I currently live in Bulverde, Texas. By industry standards, I am probably considered a late bloomer trying to pursue my singing career at the age of 29. But, hopefully I will be looked upon as experienced this way. I am willing to travel anywhere to perform and record. And hopefully even call somewhere else home, one day. My dreams and goals are huge. I want to become a huge singing sensation.

I began singing at the age of six. Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to become a recording artist. My family still has the tapes of me singing when I was a little girl. One of those songs is Rainbow Connection with Kermit the Frog. My interest in music began when I attended Bellaire Elementary in San Antonio, Texas. Once a week I looked forward to attending music class. We learned to play different instruments and sing many different songs. This was the same routine every year of elementary school. By fifth grade I landed the lead role of Gretel and performed in the school play Hansel and Gretel. It was here that not only did I learn acting for the first time, but I also sang on stage for the first time. I graduated elementary school with a bang and left a lasting memory of me with my family they will never forget.

I then went on to join the choir at Wood Middle School. It was here that I learned to use my voice even more. During this time we competed at state and regional competitions. We also performed at several different functions including singing downtown at the San Antonio Riverwalk during the holiday season.

After graduating middle school I then attended Lee High School. I also joined their choir. I achieved my greatest accomplishment here which was joining the Madrigal Choir. This was a special choir that you must audition and be selected for. I auditioned and made it. It was my proudest moment ever. I then went on to compete in several state and regional competitions. During this time I also opted to take up voice lessons for a few months. It was during high school that I realized I wanted to be a music major in college. After high school I attended San Antonio College for one year and joined their choir.

After college I continued to keep up my voice techniques and singing abilities. I then went on to record a demo to send out to record companies to land a recording contract. My demo consists of cover versions of previously-published song(s). I do hope that someone will be able to look over the fact that my demo is not original material and hear my vocal abilities and sign me on to a record deal.
