Jessica has a beautiful voice; smooth and convincing in delivery. The music provides the ideal backdrop for her talent, showcasing her ability to utilize her gift as an additional instrument in the medley. Her vocal quality is reminiscent of Lisa Loeb.

Feeling a bit camera shy

Passionate. Creative. Honest.
These are some of the words that describe Texas based singer Jessica Perez and her approach to music. Using shades of light and dark to express the varying moods of the human mind and spirit, her vocals float delicately over a piano and chamber orchestra one minute, and vault to the stratosphere over a crashing band the next minute. "What I appreciate most in music is how it has the ability to express feelings, thoughts and ideas emotionally and sometimes with or without words" states Jessica. Using her voice as an instrument as well as to convey her lyrics is something that the listener will notice when listening to Jessica sing. "When I sing I am totally alive" says Jessica, and the music reflects many facets of everyday life - struggle, longing, reflection, and passion. With a clear, honest, unwavering tone Jessica sings over a diverse group of songs on her upcoming debut CD, produced by Scott Fritz of Stranded On A Planet Productions. "Working with Jessica is a very freeing experience - we are able to write songs that run from an organic, orchestral instrumentation to a crashing, full on rock production. Her voice sits well with many styles of music, and we are taking advantage of that!" says Scott. Set to release early/mid 2007, Jessica's debut CD will shatter the preconceptions of the female voice within pop rock and stand on its own as a true work of art.
