Singer - Songwriter Jessica Vox welcomes music lovers worldwide to embrace her unique style and soul-filled sound. Combined with production team, hOLLANDjUNGLE, Jessica Vox has created the "soul of a new era. Jessicas incredible voice and multifaceted lyrics, exudes an undeniable maturity for someone so young. Only 22 years of age, Jessica conveys sentiments of loss, love, hurt and joy. Jessicas musical influences include: funk, soul, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz, to name a few.
Born a star, Jessica Vox nurtured her talents at the precious age of 6 years old. Later, Jessica attended the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Academy, in Idyllwild California, where she majored in Musical Theatre. She continued to hone her skills with vocal lessons from the legendary Lis Lewis. She later procured a summer residence at the acclaimed French Woods Performance Arts Camp. All of which certainly enhanced the development of the young singer. At age 16, Jessica mesmerized iconic producer Nigel Lythgoe, and judges Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell of the hit television show American Idol. Simon Cowell compared Jessica's powerful voice to a young Christina Aguilera.
Raised as an only child by her single mother, the recent news of her mothers passing troubled the soul singer deeply. Amidst the tragedy, Ms. Vox maintained her focus and became even more driven to succeed.
