The best kept secret in music

"Jessie Seely's "Dont Throw Your Life Away" was picked for Tampa's film for her strong voice and fearless ideas, just like the good girls who grow up in small towns who have to get their kicks *somehow* in How to Waste a Saturday Afternoon."

- Samsung/Fresh Films 2006

"Very impressive! From Pop to Rock to R&B... Tonight's first female champion can do it all!"

- Ed McMahon creator of Next Big Star!

Feeling a bit camera shy

“What’s Hot Now” at the highly respected online industry giant! This noteworthy recognition coming from a global company whose mission is to discover the best in independent music. A fine reward for this twenty-year-old performer who has no problem taking chances with her music and bravely refuses to do the same old thing. Jessie’s songwriting is spontaneous, opinionated, and even a bit spiritual at times. Through her lyrics she fearlessly puts her innermost feelings out there for everyone to hear. Invoking vocal comparisons to current popular artists Kelly Clarkson, Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Avril Levigne, as well as iconic rockers Chrissy Hynde and Heart’s Ann Wilson. With, as one reviewer puts it, “Her own touch added to the mix!"

This freewheeling entertainer craves the stage! Expect high-energy shows that are passionate, playful and refreshingly unpredictable. Gigs include an invitation to open for Dishwalla at the Key Club in Hollywood. Jessie and her band have also rocked the house at high profile LA venues such as the Hard Rock Café/Hollywood and BB King Blues Club. Always experimenting with her music, Jessie has recently completed an edgy sorta acoustic set for more intimate venues.
