May 4th 2007 saw the release of Jesterâs debut single Maria, which charted with IRMA, and received airplay both locally and nationally.
In 2004 Jester released their first EP - Stand in Comand from which track two - "Shouting in the Streets" featured on Uk's Matchbox Recordings compilation "Elevation". It also reached no. 2 in their radio chart.

May 4th 2007 saw the release of Jesters debut single Maria, which without the backing of a label or management company achieved No.40 in the IRMA Irish Chart,as well as no.1 in the Downloadmusic chart. Maria also featured on Today Fmâs Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show & could be regularly heard spinning on Beat Fm. And other local stations.
In the summer of 2001, members of various bands with very different styles decided to get together for a jam.
The band originally started out playing tracks by artists that influenced them such as The Stone Roses, Neil Young, Oasis, Pink Floyd , etc, before turning their hands to writing themselves.
To date Jester have ;
* appeared on R.T.E Television (The Mirium O' Callaghan Show),
* Irish top 40 single
* shared the stage with The Blizzards, Director, The Walls, Jerry Fish.
* played at Ireland's biggest music festival - Oxegen '06.
*Featured on Ian Dempsey breakfast show and other local radio stations
With a wealth of live experience & song writing ability, Jester are hoping to further establish themselfs in the coming year with the release of their second single âScreamâ which received rave reviews in The Sunday World, as well as plenty of play on the airwaves.
The band are currently back in the studio, and look forward that this will be their most successful year yet.
