In November 2007 JETTBLACK entered Fortress studios and recorded the blistering self-titled debut album they knew they were capable of. With Sikth’s own Justin Hill and Dan Weller at the helm, something very special has been created. Instead of worrying about hair and make-up JETTBLACK have concentrated their efforts on writing killer riffs, ear shredding solos and huge hooks all delivered with a no bullshit attitude, a good sense of humour, and a tight as hell live show. JETTBLACK have taken their influences that lie in eighties and early 90’s rock and metal and given them a fresh lease of life. Carefully crafted songs oozing with melody, power and unparalleled catchiness.
2008 took them on a rollercoaster ride, touring with the likes of Airbourne, and playing a variety of high profile summer festivals such as T in the Park, NASS, and Hard Rock Hell. 2009 has seen them support Anvil and Whitesnake as well as play Wakestock and Download festivals. This has been coupled with spot plays on the radio 1 and XFM rock shows. With a recent and coveted Kerrang! intro feature, things are building toward this years album launch. This is rock and roll that will stand the test of time!
