Jetty kid are a 3 piece alternative acoustic indie band hailing from south east essex/east london
consisting of singer/songwriter lee sparx(guitar,vocals)from canvey island,steve young(bass & b.vox) from greenwich and ed flory(drums) from westcliff on sea.
The band Came together in january 2010 after Lee
got back in touch with old friend and bandmate Steve Young
Lee had been writing aload of songs since his last band split and
jammed a few of these with Steve who immediately agreed that they
should get a drummer in and start performing the songs live
So Steve got in drummer mate Ed Forey from southend on sea
which completed the set up.
So far they have played at such venues as Chinnerys,Hope and Anchor in London
and played with Wilko Johnson,Dr Feelgood and Eddie & the Hotrods at the Oysterfleet
in Canvey Island.and have many more in the pipeline such as the Hoxton Cell(London)
Dublin Castle(london) and supporting Dr Feelgood in september this year.
