Bio

Hip Hop music has been quoted to be a dying industry but with killer beats and uncompromising lyrics Jamaal Fletcher, who goes by the moniker J.Fletcha, is here to cement his legacy and resuscitate the Hip Hop Art Form simultaneously. Reigning from a small town deep in the Bayous of Louisiana called Labadieville by the way of Baton Rouge; J.Fletcha brings the heart and soul of the south along with his new wave touch to the game. A-typical is a phrase he frequently uses, which means “the game of Rap music is like gumbo. It can never become stale or redundant if each individual brings their own A-typical ingredient to the mix and therefore it will be an unprecedented amount of “food for thought” to feast on until the end of time ”-J Fletcha
Currently crowned as the winner of “Next to Blow in Louisiana 2011” by The Real Talk Awards, J.Fletcha is steadily building his brand in the Southern Region. The release of his Highly Anticipated third mixtape intitled (GMA) Good Morning America and his YouTube videos displaying his marketability and his good looks (so the ladies say) has gained much attention to the seasoned MC. J Fletcha has worked with several artist and labels. He was almost signed to Grammy Winning Platinum Selling Artist Ti’s Grand Hustle Records but later decided follow in the footsteps of his role models Master P and Baby so he branched off to start his own label. Jamaal is now serving as the CEO of the Independent label BayouBoi Entertainment (BBE). BBE and J Fletcha are such strong believers of personal expression and individuality that he tattooed BBE across his heart and his movement is so tenacious that numerous dedicated fans have sent in photos of them having BBE tattooed on them as well. He has done countless amounts shows and has opened up for many big name artist such as Rick Ross, Mystikal, Juvenile, Trina, Diamond of Crime Mob, Dorrough, and BG just to name a few.
While contemplating on how to make a career in the music industry J Fletcha ran into Lester Brooks also known as DotCom Beatz, who had a studio, so they began recording. After years of working together they decided to form BayouBoi Entertainment (BBE) that now houses artist such as Queen Hillary, T-Tyrant, Iceman, D.O.T., Yung Rudy, and singer Jew-el. They also have their own disk jockey DJ Deaf, a group of models called the Bayou Beauties, a clothing line named FRESHVILLE, a film division labeled BayouBoi Filmz and a management and promotional team. BayouBoi Ent has won “2010 Record Label of the Year” by Frankie Tha Lucky Dog’s Louisiana awards. J Fletcha’s intent is to become a Grammy Winning Platinum Selling Artist of the future so that he can become a household name along with his label BayouBoi Ent. While working his way to the top he would like to put his southern flare on this continuously changing industry. “The definition of a Game Changer is one who Dismembers the norm and takes their audience to uncharted jurisdictions.”-J Fletcha
