This is how blues rock should sound. The production is in a word: excellent. All the elements can be picked out, but there's a great overall swampy, dirty feel that really makes the song. - GarageBand.com
Americana with roots in Springsteen and Mellencamp, “Another Long Day” is a powerful testament to classic rock’s staying power. J-Henry is an 8-piece live band but he's a singer/songwriter at heart, writing tender songs that are part brainy emotions and part heartfelt reactions. You can hear a bit of Bob Seger in his throaty vocals. Roots rock might not have ever sounded this good coming from a guy who sounds more seasoned rock veteran than newcomer. - J-Sin

J-Henry's "Another Long Day":
Chosen as the only Americana artist for Target stores America's Best Independent Artists campaign. The music has the grit and grind of the working class. Flavors of Bob Seger and Bruce Springsteen. ~ Rock the Web - http://clik.to/rocktheweb
With all the cushy blessings of Pop intelligently matched with the ache and grind of country Americana, J-Henry has honed in on all the elements that make this genre so widely appealing. Taking the influences of Bob Seger, Van Morrison, Hornsby, Springsteen and Mellancamp while making this genre his very own, this up and coming rocker deserves a hearty listen.

"Great sound ... guitar tone heaven! Overall sounds reminds me of Springsteen. All of the instrumentation and vocals are exceptional. The producer knew what he was doing. Excellent work." - GarageBand.com

"Mellencamp meets Petty: A good rockin' nightclub tune. The vocalist is very good, reminiscent of Steve Earle. This will undoubtably get people out of their seats and onto the dance floor." - Garageband.com
When listening, it's blatantly obvious that his influential artists play an import part of the overal resonance of his sound. Taking the influences of Springsteen, Van Morrison, Bob Seger, and Mellancamp, while making this genre his very own, this up and coming rocker deserves some well-deserved recognition. Some highlights on the album include the funky, almost country/blues songs like "Long Gone" and the album title track "Another Long Day". My album favorite "Just a Woman" which has some funky guitar lines, and a catchy chorus with great backup vocals....it's nice to see an artist whom I'm able to immediately connect with his simple, genuine lyrics and melodies. J-Henry IS the Springsteen of the new generation of Americana artists. - www.TheMusicAppraisal.com

Bio
Henry grew up in a working class family of 5 boys in Central New Jersey, listening to Springsteen, Mellencamp, and Bob Seger, while fine-tuning his own version of heartland rock.
While playing as an acoustic artist in the New Jersey club scene, Henry was spotted by Anthony Krizan from the Spin Doctors, who immediately connected with his simple, heartfelt lyrics and melodies. Together they set out to produce a cd and form a band that would compliment his sound.
Two years later, J-Henrys cd Another Long Day is being released on the independent RockView Records and he boasts an outstanding live show ~ an 8-piece classic rock band of seasoned players whose members have toured with the likes of Meatloaf, Mellencamp, and the Stones. Touring the New Jersey and New York scene, the group has received rave reviews and developed a cult following. One of the things Im proudest of is that everyone tells us that when we perform live, it sounds like the record, says Henry.
