Other solo projects include "I'm Still Here" an inspirational Gospel Rap CD that has aired on 2 major radio stations as well as sold close to 5,000 copies.

Jhosta was born and raised in Detroit, MI, USA. Surviving his share of street struggles and the struggle to live the life of a man of God - it's been some time coming. Jhosta (aka JoEl D. McNair), CEO of Upward Rhythm Productions, is a born again Music producer / Gospel rap artist putting his heart into community enrichment and spreading the Gospel concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. Jhosta has produced all types of inspirational music. However, Gospel rap is his first love. Early music influences have been Stevie Wonder, Chuck Mangione, and Eric B. & Rakim (to keep it brief and give you an idea of the versatility of Jhosta's styles and music). Jhosta has produced and co-produced all of his current projects, and brings a distinct energy that is entirely unique to his performances.
