J.Hurst is an upcoming hip hop artist from New Orleans, LA. He grew up in the 90's with influences from various local hip hop artists like Lil Wayne, B.G., Master P, C-Murder, and many others from the New Orleans music scene. His journey began when he was just a kid listening to his older brothers rap on old school tape recorders. They would always bring him to parties and other events and get him to rap for people. Hurst instantly knew he had found something he was truly passionate about. He went on to preforming for people at his church on sunday's to even doing a halftime show for a N.O. Hornet's game.
