Jia Harlow

BandAlternativeEDM

Jia Harlow is more of a musical project than a band. We rock when we rock, roll when we roll, and sing with the best of them! *beep*boop* ^_^

Biography

We don't have huge egos, we don't stick our music in a stale genre, and we're probably the most approachable musicians around.

There is no promotion, just some free website profiles. Imagine what we could do with a few dollars... *dreams*

Easy to Load

Written By: Jeff Abell

Step back, hold on, let me figure this out
Breathe in, hold it, now what's this about?
I can't hear...
Calm down, you're upset, wipe your tears away
I don't speak "Idiot", what are you trying to say?
Come a little closer, there is no need to shout
Try taking both of your feet out of your mouth
Roll over, sit, good boy! Here, have a biscuit.

You had a nightmare where the white man built you a gun
He shipped it in here and he sold it to your son
He couldn't help himself, he had to hold it up
The trigger pulled itself, he tried so hard to stop

I had a vision you were soon to be dead but then I
I had a vision you were all in my head I started
Thinking that maybe I would make with the purge and so I
I locked and loaded and gave into the urge and so now

IT'S ALL FALLING DOWN
IT'S ALL FALLING DOWN
IT'S ALL FALLING DOWN
IT'S ALL FALLING...........

don't
be afraid
if your dreams
turn to nightmares
soon you'll learn
they're just dreams
so baby
grow up
shut up
and just get over it

Dummer Boy

Wander the streets alone at night; a gentle breeze, drunk is the closest thing to alright

Won't remember in the morning
"Oh, where'd they go?"
Well that's just fine while I can still enjoy this wine we stole from your dad.
I feel so bad, don't wanna die, just asking "Why? Oh why?" nothing's right, anymore.

I'm going back now.

Every bird
and every tree
and everything is mocking me

I'm scared to death, feel like everything has eyes... the world is laughing at me

STOP HAUNTING ME!!!!!!!
STOP TAUNTING ME!!!!!!!

(just go to bed
things will be different in the morning
things will be better if you sleep)

Sleep is for the weak.
Sleep is...

Rounded Off

Written By: Jia Harlow (Jeff Abell)

Don't know why the glass has cracked;
it hurts.
The candle dies and all goes black;
it hurts.

Tick, tock, grab your glock
Same old shit, the same old talk
Sour times, a minor chord
for all the things I can't afford
Perfect the beat and take your time
Use all the same old words to rhyme
Nothing's fun, it's all a bore
when everything's been done before.

Time flies by, there's nothing to do and there's nothing to say.
Time Flies by, there's nothing to say when you're dead anyway.

Ooooooooooooooooo.

I give up, I give in, cause I won't ever win. (What can I do to win?)

I don't know why the glass has cracked;
it hurts.
The candle dies and all goes black;
it hurts.
The pretty things will never stay;
it hurts.
Everything will break someday;
it hurts, so give up.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
(I give up)
(I give up)
(I give up)
(I give up)
Time flies by, if you think about it.
Time flies by, if you think about it.

Time flies by.
Little, little, little by little, little, little, little
Time flies by.
Little, little, little by little, little, little, little

You can't if you don't and you're damned if you won't
What's the point? Don't pretend.
You just rot in the end. (give up. "no!no!no!no!no!no!no!no!")
You can't if you don't and you're damned if you won't
What's the point? Don't pretend.
You just rot in the end. (give up. "no!no!no!no!no!no!no!no!")
You can't if you don't and you're damned if you won't
What's the point? Don't pretend.
You just rot in the end. (give up. "no!no!no!no!no!no!no!no!")

(fading... fading...)

You just rot in the end. (...now.)
