"Amazingly Innovative………..Jiant comes forth with a debut album that proves he is a seasoned pro. Jiant has a style that is very much his own. Jiant delivers well-written lyrics along with slick instrumentation. The title track is a soul-rock track that is only a teaser for what this whole album has to offer. “Everything you are to me” is an acoustic guitar driven track which is heartfelt and beautifully performed. “Change” is a social commentary that delivers a message and has the flow of the political music style of the 60’s. Unlike the current trend of indie-soul male vocalists Jiant’s Burn is not a ballad heavy collection. Jiant will rock you and funk you on this debut “Burn”. Burn is a hot must have for any serious indie soul collector." - Arthausnyc.com

Jiant (pronounced "giant") is an exciting Soul artist. Originally from New Jersey, this multitalented artist's musical journey began with piano lessons as a child and evolved as an adult into playing the guitar, keyboard, writing, producing, and singing. After going to school for audio engineering, Jiant quickly began writing and producing songs for other singers while he worked on refining his own sound and growing as an artist. It was just a matter of time before he found himself musically and started working on his CD while playing regularly with his band in the New York City area. His music is an organic blend heavy on the Soul with elements of funk, pop, and jazz. The influences of Soul music's legends are evident in his work but Jiant's own artistic identity shines through in every song. Jiant also seems to easily re-connect with the essence of Soul music without his material sounding dated. His unique sound is fresh and modern with an unforgettable vibe. Jiant is currently on a nationwide promotional tour with his band to promote his debut CD - Burn, which was recently released in July of 2006.
